Fall Country Fair!

Step back in time at the Cow Neck Peninsula Historical Society’s old-fashioned Country Fair featuring loads of activities for both children and adults. Kids will enjoy the petting zoo, pony rides, old-time Colonial games, and story-time under the trees. Adults won’t want to miss the crafts, Lucy’s fabulous homemade fruit pies & apple butter, our own Dodge Homestead local honey, books, jewelry, and antiques!
Everyone will enjoy the Revolutionary War reenactors, country barn treasures, pottery and wool spinning demonstrations, and live entertainment with performances by The Quatrain Barbershop Quartet and our own Front Porch Players. Tours of the historic Sands-Willets House will be given throughout the day. Plenty of free parking. Adults: $6.00 Children 6-12: $3.00, Under 6 are free!
Join a knowledgeable tour guide walking the shoreline while you see and hear the fascinating history of early Port Washington. Topics will include the livelihoods that helped Port develop into the town you know today, including shell fishing, sand mining, aviation, plus the tidal mills, the restaurants, the many hotels and much, much more.
First Saturday and Sunday of every month!
